Bolt Action: Renault R40
The Renault R40 or Char léger modèle 1935 R modifié 1939 was a French light infantry tank that was used early in World War II, an improvement of the Renault R35, of which it is often considered a variant.
One of the key changes was an improvement on the suspension system that in the R35 had provided an uncomfortable ride and high track wear as well as being unreliable. Another addition is the inclusion of a radio set making the R40 much more tactically flexible than its predecessor.
As well as being used by the French Army the Polish 10th Armoured Cavalry Brigade was also equipped with R40's.
