Horses played a vital role in early history. They were used for labor, transport, show, and often represented a sign of wealth. Providing a proper shelter for these animals was an important need for the owners. The Medieval Series Stable House offers such shelter. The building is designed with 5 corrals along with a larger area that provides dry storage for hay and other food items. There are smaller storage zones that may be use for equipment such as saddles, harnesses, and tack. Attached to the front of the building is a shelter area that is ideal for a workshop and/or shade area for additional horses. Front and back doors allow easy access to the stable house.
Put some fences or walls with this and create a full functional stable yard for a Lord's Manor, an Inn, or a Castle.
The model kit is built sturdy from 1/8" layered MDF and has a removable roof to allow easy access to the interior and front utility area. High level details have been laser etched into the building to provide a realistic look to the model. Doors are hinged so they may be opened or closed as desired.
This building is designed for use in any early to late medieval period for either historical or fantasy settings. It especially pairs well with our Viking Series. Painted or unpainted, this piece will look great in your game setting.
