Shelters were common in medieval villages, towns, and cities. They were used as a place to display goods for sale, store items from the sun and rain,, or as a workshop for a tradesman. Overall, they are a versatile and multi-functional building that can provide many uses.
This shelter is designed for use in our Historical Medieval and Viking Series, but will work equally well in any period that would utilize this primitive, yet functional architecture. The building features wood etched grains on posts and fencing, as well as a removable thatch etched roof.
