Rural cottages were simple buildings constructed of logs and thatch. Wealthier families would have access to better and more materials, but in the countryside is was common to see this type of home throughout the scattered villages.
The interior of this unit has a three room layout. The design is based on small homes found in rural Poland, which can easily represent the style found across the Eastern Front region of World War II, as well as earlier periods dating back to the later part of the Middle Ages.
The model kit is built sturdy from 1/8" layered MDF and has a removable roof to allow easy access for troop movement. High level details have been laser etched into the building to provide a realistic look to the model. Doors may be custom positioned as desired. Windows have clear acrylic panes.
This product is the second Eastern Front Rural Cottage of a three building series. Add a group of Out Buildings and a Wooden Fence Kit to add some utilities and a Barn to complete a full rural homestead of the period. They will look fantastic in your game setting.
